Video

I write, film, and edit videos for the Tile Council of North America (TCNA), including Why Tile, and TCNA’s laboratory that range from training videos for technical tests to holiday messages for the association’s members. My process for producing the technical videos is to work closely with the lab director and lab technicians to script and storyboard the video, film content, produce the video, and then edit based on feedback. TCNA did not have video content prior to these videos. The videos are used for member communications, lab marketing e-blasts, presentations, and lab testing customer service. I am not a professional videographer and I don’t have any special video equipment other than my SLR camera and a tripod. I enjoy the process and have been drawn to photography and videography since my high school yearbook days.

I re-edited a film that was originally produced for a partner into a film “preview.”

I hammed it up and had a lot of fun repurposing it with a Hallmark-esque approach.
